So why do we love True Organic products here at Pete’s? True Organic Products is family-owned and operated (just like us!) and was founded in 2003 with two employees.  Since that time, the company has grown to the largest and most sought-after manufacturer of organic fertilizer on the West Coast.

Owner and CEO Jake Evans started in the organic fertilizer business in the late 1990’s. And how are True Organic products different from the average fertilizer? The answer is surprisingly simple. They are truly organic. These products were created solely around the idea that the company would source only premium ingredients – avoiding all chemicals, additives, or fillers – and spell them out clearly on the label so the home gardener could understand them. Let’s talk about the products! First up: Granular Plant Food Blends. These are made with natural and organic farm-grade ingredients used to make fertilizers for America’s largest organic farmers, with zero sludge, fillers or additives. Our favorite is probably the All Purpose Plant Food. Use this top quality product for abundant organic fruits, flowers, vegetables, herbs and foliage. This is made with an exclusive blend of proven farm-grade ingredients for plants and soil, including Seabird Guano – a great source of Phosphorous and slow release Nitrogen, Shrimp and Crab Shell meal – a premium, sustained supply of Calcium and Nitrogen for both soil and plants, Poultry Manure – ethically sourced from organically raised birds, unlike other ‘organic’ fertilizers that source from conventional farms, and organically sourced Soybean Meal. You would use All Purpose Plant Food for in-ground and container plants, and apply monthly during the growing season.

Use True Organic Rose and Flower Food to encourage stunning blooms and verdant foliage on roses and other flowering plants.

True Organic Seabird Guano is an organic fertilizer highly valued in organic farming as a great source of Phosphorous and slow release Nitrogen for plants and soil, which is ideal for vegetative growth. Use all around your garden for abundant organic fruits, flowers, vegetables, herbs and foliage. Apply twice per year in Spring and Fall.

True Organic Blood Meal is a great source of nitrogen and improves vegetative growth. Use on heavy feeders like corn, spinach, broccoli and leafy greens to encourage rapid vegetative growth. Apply twice per year in Spring and Fall.
